As weighing times: the ball clock makes time measurement becomes a survival
Since the first ball watches, it appeared about 40 years ago (as a "time machine" or as "marbled watches"), technical and watch watches around the world are delighted with this concept.
No wonder: unlike traditional tip clocks, in which only three clock tips are in motion, the balls, cradle and gripping shoulder are moving in the ball clock. The balls are gathering on three scalded cradles and shown this time. Every 5 minutes, the first cradle consists of a second cradle every 60 minutes, and every 12 hours a third swing. Change from 12:59 an hour 1:00 is the most spectacular, because then all three cradles empty simultaneously. (On YouTube you can see many videos showing ball clocks in action.)
A beautiful idea - but imprecise time display? Who thinks that the thoughts are: the ball clock "Clock'n`oll" has not only high-quality quartz movement, but also a DCF77 signal receiver. The display is therefore just as precise as a nuclear clock display in a federal physico-technical office in a brunshwig, which generates a time signal along with the control device in Mainflingen under Frankfurt.
Original ball watches from the 80s are no longer available today, new editions are suitably sought, such as "Clock'N`oll" ball clock. Clock'n'Roll watch in terms of design and mechanics exactly corresponds to early ball clocks, but additionally has a time receiver, the status of "collector" is already sure.
