The MA911B / 2 probe is a laboratory, filled with a pH probe for use with monitors and Milwaukee drivers.
The most important functions include:
Double connection- Connector construction with a double connector reduces the risk of clogging.
Spherical glass tip- A spiral glass tip provides the highest possible surface, which allows you to get faster results.
Body from resin- The resin body is durable and resistant to accidental impacts, and also protects the glass sensor bubble.
Prolonged cable- It offers a 6.6 foot cable, providing greater flexibility of measurements.
Using and care- Pehhametry usually starts working poorly because of probe problems. Two parts of the pH probe that cause problems, a glass measuring bubble and reference connector.
Vigilant- The glass bubble loses the sensitivity as you use and finally fails. This applies to all pH probes.
Reference knot- The reference connector is a small hole that allows the meter to compare the sample with reference. Reading is generated on the basis of an electrical difference between the sample and the pattern. If the connection hole is clogged, the pH probe will stop working. The lifetime of the pH electrode can be extended as follows.
Storage
The pH probe should be maintained in a state of hydration. Long storage periods in a dry place will reduce the sensitivity of the probe. Leaving the probe for drying can also make the connection hole clogging.
Storage in solution for storing pH probes or pH calibration buffers will help solve both problems. Do not store in water and deionized water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe.
The best way to store the probe is to fill the probe cap solution for storing or calibration buffer and tightening the cap to prevent leaks. It is also recommended to store the electrode in a vertical position to further reduce the risk of leakage.
Cleaning
The sample residues can affect the sensitivity of the sensor bulb and block the connector. This is especially true if the sample contains a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly immersing the electrode in a cleaning solution.
Calibration
The pH measurement bulbs become less sensitive over time, therefore calibration should be regularly carried out to ensure the accuracy of the P P pro meter. Calibration should also be carried out after cleaning or long storage period.
