- Fast and easy-to-read results thanks to a large, digital LCD display.
- Accuracy to ± 0.2 pH in a full pH range from 0.0 to 14.0.
- Setting range from 5.5 to 9.5 pH with activated alarm when the reading is higher or lower than the setpoint
- Laboratory class probe with a double connector, filled with gel, which ensures low maintenance costs.
The reference connector is a small whole that allows the meter to compare the sample with reference. Reading is generated on the basis of an electrical difference between the sample and the pattern. If the connecting hole is clogged, the pH electrode will stop working.
The pH probe should be maintained in a state of hydration. Long storage periods in a dry place will reduce the sensitivity of the probe. Leaving the probe for drying can also make the connection hole clogging.
Storage in solution for storing pH probes or pH calibration buffers will help solve both problems.
Do not store in water and deionized water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe.
The best way to store the probe is to fill the probe cap solution for storing or calibration buffer and tightening the cap to prevent leaks. It is also recommended to store the electrode in a vertical position to further reduce the risk of leakage.
The sample residues can affect the sensitivity of the sensor and plug the connector. This is especially possible if the sample contains a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly immersing the probe in a cleaning solution.
PH bulbs become less and less sensitive over time, therefore calibration should be regularly carried out to ensure the accuracy of the pH pro meter.
