Bioceramax 1200 is a unique contribution for biological water filtration in freshwater and marine aquariums, Paludariach, Akwaterraria and Terrari.

It has the form of rolls made of fine-torn sintered glass that provides an extremely large filter surface - 1200 m2.

How does BioCeramax 1200 work?On the internal surface of BioCeramax 1200 roller pores placed in aquarium filter over time, strains of useful nitrification bacteria from nitrosomonas and nitrospira type are estimated. These microorganisms use toxic for fish in their vital processes of metabolic products: ammonia (nitrosomonas) and nitrites (nitrospira). Nitrification bacteria oxidize ammonia and nitrites into the form of nitrates that are much safer for the residents of the aquarium.

Where and when BioCeramax 1200 works? Bioceramax 1200 is perfectly suited as a filter deposit in canister filters, overflow filters, internal filters with chambers on loose media (eg turboilter), Sumps, filter chimneys. It can be used in both freshwater and sea aquariums. It is especially recommended for tanks with large fish and with lots of fish.

How to use Bioceramax 1200?

• Bioceramax 1200 is immediately ready to use and does not require rinsing or perform any other additional activities.
• Package content should be poured into a filter basket or filter chamber.
• In order to ensure optimal use results, it is recommended to place the BioCeramax 1200 cartridge behind mechanical filtration cartridges and from cartridges for chemical filtration.
• One package, i.e. 1 liter Bioceramax 1200, we recommend AQUAEL filters: Unimax 150, Unimax 250, Midikani 800, Minkni 80, Minkni 120, ASAP and Versamax.
• In the case of other filters, one Bioceramax 1200 packaging recommends approx. 250 l capacity to the aquarium.

How long does BioCeramax 1200 work?

• Bioceramax 1200 can be used for a very long time without replacing, however, it is slow, gradual consumption due to crushing, which reduces the effectiveness of its operation.
• To ensure the optimal effect, it is recommended to exchange once every 6-12 months around 1/3 of the contribution to a new one.
• When cleaning the filter, the cartridge should be rinsed in water dropped from the aquarium.
• Bioceramax 1200 insert should not be washed in current tap water to not cause its sterilization.
