Sponge cartridges for AQUAEL filters made of a carefully selected co-cellular sponge. Provide efficient mechanical filtration. Stopping visible with naked eye of contamination and suspension.

At the same time, they are a substrate for nitrification bacteria, thanks to which they also carry out biological filtration.

In order to ensure the optimal work of the cartridges, they are recommended that their regular exchange and maintenance only in the "old" water taken during the aquarium replacement.
