Easy Reefs PKO 250g PO4

Easy Reefs PKO- Phosphate controller - dispersed in water powder from ionic modified clay. New product Easy Reefs PKO Eliminates the bioavailability of phosphates in both freshwater aquariums and marine aquariums.

- This is an ionic modified bentonite-sodium silicate to control phosphates. Reactions with phosphate creating a new insoluble element and prevents it to return to the water column.

- The consuming phosphates from the water column occurs within about 3 hours after the suspension.

- After settling, PKO will still be associated with the interveilized phosphate released from the sludge until its saturation.

- One kilogram of PKO removes more than 30 grams of PO4 (1 gr - 0.34 ppm).

- May be used with the dosing pump, dispense it in a 1: 4 ratio with RO water.

Warning: He is not a food! Only for use in the aquarium. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not inhale. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

How to use?

Dissolve 100 g of PKO in 400 g of water and mix until a homogeneous, free-free mixture. If mixing is carried out manually, it is recommended to repeat the mixing after four hours to ensure the correct dispersion

Store in a cool and dry place, it can be used up to 30 days after its preparation.

Example of use for 500 L aquarium with initial concentration of 1 ppm phosphate (PO4 3-).

1. Measure the phosphate level before adding the middle

2. Add 50 ml of liquid.

3. After 24 hours, measure and save the concentration of phosphate before adding PKO.

4. The difference between the first and the second addition will indicate a decrease in phosphate concentration. Repeat this procedure every day until the desired target is reached.

5. Increase or decrease the amount of disposed product depending on the speed * with which we want to reduce the concentration

6. Sodium silicate PKO can be dispensed manually or using a peristaltic pump, preferably at the beginning of the night period and in the area of maximum water circulation.

To achieve a concentration of 0.05 ppm phosphate, use a product 4 weeks.
