The pump has filter cartridges:

In addition, thanks to a special microporous structure, it has a large active area and is a perfect habitat for nitrification bacteria (biological filtration).

Mineral zeolite - so-called Ammonium grits are characterized by a microporous structure that allows you to absorb many non-desirable in the eye of the compounds, among others such dangerous ammonium ions and ammonia. The area of Zeolite promotes the development of useful bacteria, thanks to which the cartridge perfectly filters water also in terms of biological terms.

Kaldness - It is a biological insertion with a very large surface. Biological filtration is the heart of the entire filtration system, is the most important type of filtration in the tank.
