Use:

Before first use, rinse every 500 ml resin by passing through it with a continuous stream of approx. 3.8 liter of fresh water. After completing this operation, water should be poured.

Advanced instructions: To a certain extent, the effectiveness of the resin depends directly from the length of reaction time with aquarium water, i.e. the longer the time that the resin acts on water, the more effectively removes nitrates from it. When the concentration of nitrates ("[NO3 -]") It will reach an almost immiscible level, the Nitrat resin will continue to remove nitrates from the water resulting from natural biological processes. Remove the resin or perform a regeneration process when the nitrate level [NO3 -] It will start to grow. Then re-use the resin to allow a continuous nitrate removal process. In any case, the use of pre-, mechanical filtration to remove insoluble organic impurities from water, even before using the resin NITROR, significantly increases the effectiveness of the entire process. Fluidizing filtration: Observe the instructions given by the filter manufacturer regarding the use of optimal medium volume in the reaction chamber. Start with low flow intensity, then adjust to the medium to rotate to 2/3 of the chamber height. The flow rate should be small enough for resin balls to be thrown into the aquarium. Canister filter: Place the resin balls in a filter bucket according to the manufacturer's instructions. Regeneration method: For every 250 ml Nitrat resin for regeneration, dissolve 4 cups (940 mL) of the table salt in a pure vessel containing 3.8 l of water at room temperature. Put the resin in the dish and stir. Leave overnight to allow the balls to apply the solution. Filter and rinse very carefully with fresh water before re-use. Do not regenerate with the use of bleach, because this will damage the balls and can result in the deaths of organisms living in the aquarium.
