Aquational pH 7.4 - 9.0 Used to measure and control the pH value in the basic and sweet water with an accuracy of 0.2.

The method of performing the measurement is simple - a few drops of the indicator are added to the water sample, and the color caused compared to the bands of the color scale and reads the result.

Why measure the pH?

Maintaining the pH value on the appropriate and relatively constant level is important for all water organisms, especially for living in marine aquarium. The pH of water in the marine aquarium should be within 7.9 - 8.4, preferably as close as possible to 8.2. To correct the pH value in sea water, only preparations intended for salt water should be used.

Maintaining the pH value in the range above 7.5 is also important for freshwater aquariums with nurses from African lakes Malawi and Tanganika. The preservation of the right, constant water reaction is particularly important during their development and for fry.
