The project

The plastic design of the new Prime and Hydra line has two advantages: better performance and a better look. Improving performance reduces the requirements for active cooling for longer life of components. Improvements in the design of a thinner device reduce its profile and presence in the aquarium.

Flexible

Construction improvements have been introduced into new prime and hydras to make them more waterproof, which means that they are more resistant to moisture-rich environments.

Moonlight

A dedicated LED lunar and channel was added, so you can now control the moonlight separately from other channels, which allows you to simulate the natural color and intensity of the moon.

Control

The MyAi® application can be downloaded for free to easily and quickly control lighting thanks to direct connection BLE via a smart device, Mac, iOS, PC and Android. This cloud also connects to all other AI devices, but new control options for new prime and hydras may appear in the near future, so be vigilant!

Optics and output power

With regard to pairs, efficiency, color mixing and distribution have been improved. Thanks to the more LEDs, the full spectrum is targeted at TIR lenses that shape the light stream while improving performance. As a result, there are more colors, wider distribution and higher average pairs. The connection of LED diodes and lens geometry helps to connect the cluster of light, reducing the separation of colors.

New Prime and HydraS use the same set of LEDs with a new optics.

Hd

The HD function consisting in guiding power, which is not used by one channel for another, is still a beloved function in the HD assortment - if it is not broken, do not fix it, right?

Mounting

Assembly elements, as previously available for Hydra and Prime luminaires, will work with a new version lamp. The exception is the Hydra Flex arm, which due to the difference in size in new luminaires will require a different light bracket. FLEX arm bracket will change with new luminaires. Older flexible arms used for assembly of new lights will require a new light bracket.
