Oxygen is needed in every pond. In summer, during the heat, the pump provides oxygen fish and in the winter prevents the fish from being taken from the ice, creating an unbridical wisel. Some species of fish, eg sturgeons have particularly high oxygen requirements and then additional oxygenation is necessary. Biological pond filtration also depends on the good oxygenation of water. The size of the pump is selected depending on the size of the pond and the amount of fish.
In summer, during the heat, it reduces the oxygen deficit, and in the winter protects against a total freezing of the pond.
