Like strontium and calcium, magnesium is used by corals to build a skeleton. It is also necessary to live with other marine organisms - from bacteria, through limb to fish.

How to check if the magnesium level is enough? There are many symptoms of its deficiency. At a level below 800mg / l (a serious deficiency) may fall into a drop of water and disorders in maintaining the correct level of calcium ions.

The most effective method of assessing whether Magnesium supplementation is needed, it is a test, for example using the SEACEM REEF Status set: Magnesium & Carbonate and Borate Alkalinity.

If it turns out that the magnesium level is low, use "Ions", containing the most concentrated dose (90,000 000mg / l) of this element, supplied in an easily soluble form. Other magnesium preparations often contain traces of ammonia, arising during their production.

In the AQUAVITRO line preparations, this problem has been resolved. "Ions" is the first and only one-type supplement on the market that does not contain ammonia.

Using fully soluble magnesium compounds is of great importance for their absorption. Some formulations contain partially insoluble salts, which limits the availability of magnesium for live organisms.

If the product has a milk-colored color or requires a strong shock before use, most likely the majority of magnesium located in it will not be able to be used by living organisms. "Ions" also contains strontium and bora in a 1: 7: 4 ratio, which avoids ionic balance disorders.

How to use:

• Beginners: Apply the contents of the internal nut (7ml) for every 125 liters of water, 2 times a week. Once a week, check the magnesium level by modifying the administration of the preparation depending on the results obtained.
• Advanced: After checking the magnesium level, administer the preparation according to the instructions until the magnesium level is reached 1200 - 1350 mg / l.
• Each 7ml of the preparation applied to 125 liters of water increases the level of magnesium by 5 mg / l. The amount of preparation and the frequency of its use may be modified, but do not exceed 35ml doses of "Ions" to 125 liters of water per day.

Tip:

• A specially designed nut allows you to measure different volumes of the preparation, depending on your needs. Each groove on the internal (smaller) parts of the nut is 2ml.
• The entire internal part of the nut has a volume of 7ml. Each groove of the outer part of the nut has a volume of 28ml (35, when filling the inner and outer part).
• The fully filled nut contains 49ml of the preparation. In contrast to competition products, which should be used with breaks, "Ions" can be used daily and directly on other products from the AquaviTro line.
