AquaForest Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate 750 g

A measure to raise the magnesium level in reef aquariums. Magnesium is necessary for the proper development of corals. A reduced magnesium level may cause inability to maintain the correct calcium level and too low pH. The recommended level of magnesium in reef aquariums is 1180-1460 mg / l (ppm).

Dosage:

Dissolve 10 g in 1000 ml of Rodi water. Dosage should be determined based on water tests and daily corals consumption. Before using the preparation, it is recommended to measure magnesium concentration. 100 ml Magnesium solution increases magnesium level by 1.2 mg / l (ppm) in 100 l of water. Suitable for ad hoc application for one-time magnesium level. 10 g Magnesium in 100 liters of water raises magnesium level by approx. 12 mg / l (PPM). We do not recommend raising the magnesium level by more than 50 ppm per day. In order to maintain constant water and ionic balance, KH Buffer and Reef Mineral Salt should also be used. Magnesium can be combined into one solution from Calcium or from Reef Mineral Salt. Includes MGCl2x6H2O.

Magnesium hexic chloride to replen the level of magnesium in reef tanks when using the Balling method. Dissolve 34G MgCl2x6H2O and 147g CACL2X2H2O in 1500ml water RO and then refill with RO water to obtain a 2000ml ready solution.
