AquaForest Reef Salt 2kg
Synthetic sea salt created for coral breeding. The salt composition has been selected to create the best conditions for sea animals. The micro and macro elements contained in it fully satisfy the demand of corals into elements needed for their adequate growth and color. When establishing new aquariums, first animals are recommended to let not earlier than 10-14 days from the flooding of the tank.
Processing:
Salt should be dissolved in prepared, demineralized water. The water temperature should be approx. 24 ° C. For salinity 33 ppt (1.025 S.G.) About 390 g / 10 l of water should be dissolved. The solution should be intensively mixed for approx. 15 min. After full dissolution and obtaining full clarity, the water so salted is ready for use. Salt should be stored in a dry and shady place. The dissolved salt should be used within 5 days. Evaporation changes water parameters, therefore store the prepared brine tightly closed. If you store a prepared brine for a few days before use, check her salinity. Protect from children. Product for use only in the aquarium. It is not suitable for consumption. Safety data sheet available on demand.
Good to know:
AquaForest products are created in the European Union, in strictly controlled laboratory conditions to meet the highest quality standards. Each product is created from carefully selected raw components / raw materials in amounts guaranteeing a uniform composition. Each of our batches is tested on ICP-OES before packaging salt. From May 2017, we have introduced the opportunity to make customers can see online results.
How does the sea salt are tested?
Mix our sea salt (each batch with a weight of 1 tonnes - 2204 pounds), we charge 3 separate samples from each party at the production stage. Each of these samples is dissolved in 15 liters (4 US GAL) of RO water. Our team performs ICP-OES analysis to check whether the chemical composition is homogeneous and to exclude the presence of undesirable impurities. NOTE: Even if we mix thoroughly, the salt, the composition of the packaging / containers may not be identical. The parameters in containers may differ slightly and the difference of 2-3% is acceptable. These differences arise due to various physical properties of the mixture and restrictions on the available processing techniques. The deviation of measurements are, however, smaller than the typical range of tolerance for tests commonly used by hobbyists.
