Thanks to Tunze Foamer in the skimmer a large number of small air bubbles with a diameter of 0.1 to 0.3 mm are created, which also translates into its exceptionally quiet operation.

Thanks to intense stirring of water with air from the water surface, waste such as protein, cellulose or dead cells are collected. This is how small bubbles are formed which, as a result of water, are stabilized in a skimmer where water returns to the aquarium and air bubbles with proteins wander to the foam tank reactor. The Anti Overfoaming system allows you to dose water and performance regulations depending on the level of biological load.
