Thanks to the latest technology, AF Bio Sand application significantly accelerates the aquarium maturation process and allows for a faster settlement of it. Included to the set of bottles contain isolated laboratory strains of nitrification bacteria and a medium to facilitate their development and multiplication. The specialized formula of the kit guarantees the closure of the nitrogen cycle and the elimination of harmful chemical compounds from water much faster than in the case of traditional substrates.

An extremely easy way to use AF Bio Sand allows you to quickly prepare your sand for use in the aquarium. Due to the extremely wide application, AF Bio Sand also works perfectly in functioning tanks as a supplement to the substrate. Granulation of sand is 1-2 mm.

During transport, dust can precipitate, which is safe for aquarium, however, to avoid turbidity of water, we recommend rinsing sand in the water of Rodi before applying in the aquarium. Up to 3 liters of salted water pour the contents of both bottles, mix thoroughly, add to the sand bag and set aside for 24 hours.

In order to enable the bacteria, do not close the bag. We do not recommend storage in cold places, as this may significantly prolong the damping time of bacteria. The optimal sand maturing temperature is about 25-28 ° C. After 24 hours, the prepared sand prepared is ready for use in the aquarium.
