AquaForest Iodum 50ml

Supplement containing concentrated iodine. The JOD marine aquarium is responsible for the general functioning of cells and transfer of nutrients between them. Iodium is constantly consumed by the residents of the aquarium, which is why without supplementation its level in the water will quickly fall. JOD is used by corals for pigment synthesis that allow them to adapt to variable light conditions and provide protection of tissues against UV radiation. In hard corals, Iodum increases the intensity of dark blue and purple. A suitable iodine content in sea water supports shrimp. Regular use of iodum allows you to maintain iodine content in water at the same level as in natural sea water.

Dosage:

1 drop per 100 l (27 US Gal) water per day. 1 drop of iodine raises its level by 0.01 ppm in 100 l. The recommended level of iodine in aquarium water is 0.055 - 0.07 mg / l (PPM).
