The OCHO NAILS Hybrid Base Powerful 173 is a professional hybrid base coat designed to strengthen and harden the natural nail plate, providing excellent adhesion to support a durable manicure lasting up to three weeks.
This base coat has a medium-thick, self-leveling consistency for smooth application without streaks and contains an adhesion promoter that helps reduce chips and air pockets. It features an acid-free formula with a delicate scent, suitable for various nail types. Its natural colour range works well for subtle styles such as French and baby boomer manicures, delivering intense shine and a natural appearance.
To perform a hybrid manicure with this base coat:
1. Disinfect hands and prepare your workspace.
2. Shape nails using an appropriate file, gently matt the nail surface, and prepare cuticles if needed.
3. Clean the nails with a cleanser-soaked cotton pad; using a primer is optional.
4. Apply a thin layer of the base coat and cure under a LED lamp for at least 30 seconds or a UV lamp for 2 minutes.
5. Apply the chosen hybrid polish and cure as instructed; repeat for more intense colour.
6. Apply a thin layer of top coat and cure similarly; cleanse if necessary depending on top coat type.
7. After curing, apply nourishing oil to the cuticles for care.
