Professional droplet test

AquaTest NO2 is a test for measuring nitrites that are a transitional protein nitrogen transformation product resulting in the first stage of oxidation of ammonium compounds (NH3 / NH4) with the participation of oxygen bacteria. Azotyne (NO2) in aquariums are transformed into less harmful nitrates (NO3) with the participation of nitrification bacteria. Too high concentration of nitrites are harmful and even fatal for fish, shrimps and other fauna. Test particularly useful during the tank maturation when there is a lack of useful bacteria transforming nitrites into less harmful nitrates. During the aquarium maturation, hazardous ammonium compounds (NH3 / NH4), whose level should be controlled. NH3 Test also available in our store's offer.

Measurement method

The tested water should be poured into the samples, then add the reagents in accordance with the order described in the instructions. After a given time, we put a sample on a color scale and read the result of the level of the concentration of nitrites at the disc with the color of the most similar to the color of water in the test. AquaTest NO2 allows for at least 30 measurements.
