JBL Aquabasis plus 2,5L

Aquabasis is a fertilizer substrate for aquarium plants used on the bottom of the aquarium under the main substrate as JBL Manado. Aquabasis should be used when setting up aquarium. Aquabasis is a mixture of sand and clay, enriched with the necessary nutrients and trace elements for plant growth. It does not contain nitrates and phosphates. Liquid fertilization using aquabasis substrate can be limited but can not be excluded, this applies in particular aquariums with a lot of plants. The addition of sand in Aquabasis makes the optimal layer of this substrate is 2cm, if you do not want to have too high ground due to the low aquarium, we recommend fertilizing concentrate without a sand that will not create a thick layer.

Preparation and use:

• Arrange the layer of Aquabasis thick thickness of 2cm on the bottom of the aquarium and on her spose a minimum of 5cm aquarium gravel with a thickness of 2-6mm.
• Secure the outlet of water affecting the aquarium from the filter so that the stream of water does not blur the substrate.
• In this prepared aquarium you can plant plants, then after about a month you can start using liquid fertilizers.
• For optimal plant development, maintain the right pH and provide CO2, the substrate can be enriched with balls every 3-6 months.
