The next generation of Coralcare LEDs has come. Coralcare Gen2 offers a new, slimry design with passive cooling and wireless control. What's more, we have further improved the spectrum and light distribution to create a more natural result of the reef, natural light patterns and promote the growth of corals.

A new, slimry design is still cooled passively and uses
the most efficient LEDs on the market - all without loss
quality of light. Includes:
• Low energy and long-term consumption, offering over 25,000 hours of light
• A large thermal cooling surface (7 kg) for passive cooling with longer life than loud fans

Thanks to Philips Coralcare Gen2 provides the perfect balance of light
unique light distribution and solution for color mixing.

As with Coralcare Gen 1, the light is homogeneously mixed and
distributed thanks to the optical fiber optic and a scattered glass plate.
We improved this additionally in Coralcare Gen 2, grouping files
LEDs in triangular clusters and adding four carefully placed transparent
areas in a glass plate.

Clusters and location in the direction of each other are deliberately elected to create a subtle but natural light patterns in water.
Transparent areas in a glass plate provide additional dynamic light effects when warm, natural colors are selected. This imits patterns noticed at the bottom of the ocean at noon when the sun is at the highest point. In the evening, when bluish color points are chosen, this dynamic effect of disappears as in nature.

Selected architecture provides an ideal balance between performance, even light distribution in the aquarium, color homogeneity and the right level of light dynamics.

Easy to control and installation

The CoralCare Gen2 LED can be controlled or using a computer. In addition, it also contains 0-10 V for other companies controllers. What's more, your new wireless controller is also compatible with Coralcare Gen1 luminaires.

Choose from user-friendly, pre-programmed lighting schedules or easily create a custom 24-hour lighting schedule, adapted to the needs related to coral. You can even share your lighting schedules to other Reeferom!

Direct control is useful for maintenance or checking the inhabitants of the reef. There is an acclimatization phase when introducing new corals or installing new Coralcare lamps, which allows you to gradually increase the intensity of light to adapt to the needs of corals.
The single box system (with integrated controllers) also includes a suspension kit ensuring fast and efficient installation, with adjustable height and position.
