Material and Sterilization

Constructed from Japanese cobalt steel known for durability and sharpness, the tool can be sterilized in an autoclave and disinfected chemically when following manufacturer guidelines.

Autoclave sterilization includes 121 °C for 15 minutes, with deactivation at 132-134 °C under 3 bar pressure.

Improper sterilization or disinfection, such as overly strong solutions or excessive exposure, may cause discoloration, pitting, or corrosion, even in stainless steel instruments.
