The tool is suitable for sterilization in an autoclave at 121 °C for 15 minutes and deactivation at 132-134 °C with 3 bar pressure. It can also be disinfected using chemical solutions intended for this purpose, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Note that steel, even stainless steel, may be subject to discoloration, pitting, or corrosion if sterilization or disinfection procedures are not correctly followed. Using chemical disinfectants as recommended is necessary to avoid damage.
