The Nghia Export P-08 metal hoof is a manicure and pedicure instrument for removing cuticles, membranes, and gel or acrylic residues from the nail plate. It is made of polished stainless steel used in surgical instruments.
The tool has two ends: a slightly curved, beveled knife with a 4.5 mm blade for wiping the epidermis and a rounded, convex chisel with an 8 mm blade for removing nail product residues.
It can be disinfected and sterilised by chemical, thermal, or combined methods, including autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes or up to 134 °C at 3 bar pressure. Chemical disinfection should follow manufacturer instructions to avoid tool damage such as discoloration or corrosion. Stainless steel may be damaged by improper sterilisation or strong disinfectants.
