Sterilization and Care

The nippers can be sterilised by chemical, thermal, or chemical-thermal methods, including autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes or deactivation at 132–134 °C under 3 bars pressure. Chemical disinfectants must be used according to manufacturer instructions to avoid damaging the tool.

Note that stainless steel can still suffer discoloration, pitting, or corrosion under certain conditions even with proper care.
