The barbed fittings will allow the Vectra pump to use the soft pipe for the hydraulic installation while the attached screen will prevent foreign bodies from entering and causing damage to the pump.

S1 / M1 Barb and matching the screen: The connector on the post will work with a soft Dark 3/4 in a diameter.

Ecotech Marine Vectra Barb and Screen allows your Vectra pump to use a standard soft tube, such as a braided vinyl or silicone hose. The barbed fittings will be a traditional lubricant on the Vectra pump output and will require a PVC cement for a trouble-free connection. A blue sleeve on Vectra pumps can be tight for a barbed connector, we recommend using a small amount of hydraulic solvent and applying a high force to securely place the connector.

The attached screen shield stops large contaminants before entering the pump, which normally cause damage and extreme pump wear. The sieve is usually drawn into the pump, no solvent is needed to connect the screen to the pump inlet.
