Aragonite substrate "enriched" with specially selected bacterial strains. The Red Sea Live Reef Base sand is harvested in the Bahamas and subjected to a multiple washing and rinsing process. The substrate is vaccinated with bacteria after rinsing so that each sand beanie is simply covered with useful microorganisms, which significantly shortens the process of matured tank with the Red Sea Live Reef Base.
