Corals in the aquarium use KH, CA and MG to build a frame structure. The standard calcium reactor dissolves media using co₂, but maintaining stable parameters in time requires continuous calibration. The Aquawiz CRA controller automates this process, enabling the target KH values and adjusting the co₂ dose in a dynamic and precise manner.
The device allows you to set the number of co₂ bubbles depending on the demand of the aquarium in each hour day. In addition, it automatically adjusts the water outflow from the reactor, maintaining a constant KH level. In combination with the Aquawiz KH (KHA) alkalitation controller, he works in auto-tune mode, adjusting the dosing parameters to stabilize KH at the level of ± 0.2-0.6 DKH. The system can be monitored and configured remotely by a web browser, offering access to KH, co₂ charts and error history and settings. There is also the option of connecting a pH probe (BNC connector), which are presented on the LCD screen and online.
The controller is powered by AC 100-240V with DC 12V 1A output. Dimensions of the device are about 17 × 13 × 7cm (depending on the version), and the connections enable 6mm control of co₂ and pH pH. The LCD display shows a real-time KH difference in relation to the target value, the current and programmed amount of co₂, time and system operation mode.
Aquawiz CRA is intended for advanced aquarists running reef containers with a high demand for KH, calcium and magnesium. Automates water-standing and stabilization processes, significantly reducing the need for manual interventions, which is particularly important in aquariums with an intense increase in the SPS corals.
