The Barbicide concentrate is a professional disinfectant based on quaternary ammonium compounds, designed for use in hairdressing salons, beauty salons and wellness centres. It does not contain ethanol, aldehydes or phenols.
This disinfectant is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including bacteria such as Staphylococci (including MRSA), Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus hirae, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and Escherichia coli; fungi including Candida albicans; and viruses including BVDV, Vaccinia, HIV (AIDS), H1N1, HBV, and HCV (hepatitis B and C).
Safe for disinfecting acrylic surfaces (such as solarium surfaces), stainless steel, plastic, combs, brushes, rollers, scissors and other hairdressing and cosmetic tools. Also recommended for ends of devices like microdermabrasion tools and cutters, as well as clipper blades and attachments.
Mix the concentrate with water at a ratio of 1:16 (60 ml concentrate per 1 litre of water). Immerse utensils and tools placed on a rack or strainer fully in the solution.
Minimum disinfection time is 3 minutes; recommended time is 10 minutes. Do not exceed 30 minutes disinfection time. After disinfection, remove tools and store them in a clean designated place.
