AquaForest KH Buffer 1200 g

A means to maintain a constant carbonate hardness in reef aquariums. A suitable carbonate hardness level ensures pH stabilization and easy control. The decrease in the concentration of carbonates in the aquarium can completely stop the nitrification process. The recommended KH level in reef aquariums is 6.5-8.5 DKH.

Dosage:

80 g in 1000 ml of Rodi water should be dissolved. Dosage should be determined based on water tests and daily corals consumption. Before using the preparation, the concentration of KH is recommended. 100 ml KH buffer solution raises KH level by 2.6 DKH in 100 l of water. Suitable for ad hoc application for a one-time increase in KH. 10 g KH Buffer in 100 l water lifts by approx. 3.3 DKH (alk. 1.18 Meg / L). We do not recommend lifting the KH level with more than 0.5 DKH per day. In order to maintain an ionic balance and permanent parameters, we also recommend Calcium, Magnesium and Reef Mineral Salt.
