FMM - Fluid Monitoring Module APEX (Flow Monitoring)

FMM has four ports to which various sensors and accessories can be connected. The best thing is that not all must be of the same type. This means that if you want to have a flow sensor in ports 1 and 2, and then a probe to detect leaks in ports 3 and 4 - no problem!

Need a flow sensor for a return pump, optical sensor for emergency level detection in SUMPE and two probes for leak detection. All you need to do is connect and FMM will automatically detect the sensor type in each port.

Flow sensors

Measurement of the main aquarium pump flow is extremely useful. The key benefit would be that APEX would notify you immediately after stopping the flow for any reason - usually as a result of a failure or a defective pump.

What's more, the indicating reduced flow can be used to determine whether the pump or wires are dirty or clogged with algae.

Optical water level sensors

The water level sensors in the aquarium have many useful applications. They can help in building automatic complement, monitor levels in containers with supplements and even help in automating containers for mixing salt water.

Traditionally, the most commonly used type of these devices are float switches, however, they are susceptible to all kinds of failures. On the other hand, semiconductor, optically controlled sensors used in FMM are much more reliable and reliable.

These optical sensors operate on the basis of emitors and LED receptors in a transparent housing, thanks to which in the event of a connection, the light breaks and does not end the circuit.

Built-in DC24 accessories port!

FMM has one more ASA in the sleeve. In addition to four FMM sensor ports, it also has DC24 accessories port and power input. This can be used to add another controlled configuration socket.
