The Lafomed Compact Line lfss08ac is a Class B autoclave with an 8-litre capacity, designed for sterilising both medical and non-medical instruments. It is suitable for use in hospital departments, dental and ophthalmology clinics, biological research institutes, as well as hairdressing, beauty, tattoo, and aesthetic medicine salons.
This autoclave offers 10 fully automatic programs, including 7 sterilisation cycles for solid, porous, and concave instruments at various temperatures and pressures, two test programs (Bowie & Dick and vacuum test), and a cleaning program. A user program option allows full adjustment of parameters such as time, drying duration, and pressure cycles.
It sterilises both wrapped and unwrapped instruments. The shortest sterilisation cycle at 134°C including drying lasts 7 minutes, enabling rapid processing of instruments.
Preheat and keep warm functions help maintain chamber temperature between cycles to reduce waiting time and improve workflow efficiency.
The chamber is made from 304-grade stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning. The autoclave includes built-in clean and used water tanks, each with a capacity of 2.5 litres, accessible from the front for convenient filling and drainage.
Safety is enhanced by a double door lock system with mechanical and electronic locking, a self-diagnosis system to prevent damage, and a water quality sensor to ensure sterilisation stability.
The user interface features a clear LCD display showing time, temperature, pressure, and cycle progress, with English language menus. The device remembers the last used sterilisation program for quick access.
Additional features include a hot key for immediate selection of the last program and an autostart function to schedule delayed program starts at specific times or after set intervals.
This autoclave complies with CE 1023, ISO 13485, and BS EN 13060:2014+A1:2018 standards and meets sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
